“ I stayed in the Condesa last year above this restaurant. We returned this year an vowed not to revisit any of the places from last year.... EXCEPT THIS ONE. We returned here tonight on our very first night. Sometimes, you return to a place ... feeling nostalgic... and it's not the same. I'm here to tell you, you will never ever be disappointed here. It's rich in history and culture. You can drop a lot of money nearby for a fancy (and underwhelming) restaurant nearby. Or you can dine here. On the street. With the locals. And eat the best food in Mexico City on a dime. I recommend the volcano and anything else on the menu because it's all perfection. To top it all off, the staff is very friendly and treat you like family. ”
“ I recently tried the tacos at this place and they were absolutely fantastic. We did have to wait a bit for a table, but once I tried the food, it was well worth it. The pico was surprisingly spicy, so if you're not a fan of heat, be sure to watch out for that. The highlight of the meal was definitely the flan, an absolute must-try dessert that was simply delicious. I also enjoyed the unique twist on traditional tacos with the pita tacos. Overall, I had a great dining experience and would recommend this spot for anyone looking for great tacos and a must-try flan. ”
“ I have been here on a prior trip of Mexico City from a taco food tour but wanted to come back on my own. Get the Doneraky taco on pan arabe (pita bread) and the doneraky gringa. Recommend coming on a weekday when it isn't crazy busy as the service can get pretty slow during those times. The ambiance is very basic. You'll either be in a small table inside by the soda machine or outside on the sidewalk. ”

“ Amazing tacos, friendly service, and a really good outdoor dining experience. It's small, but things move quickly. Wait for an outdoor table, the inside is a little tight and too close to the cooking action. The menu is surprising large, due in part to the different taco styles. Each meat can be had with four, corn or bread base. Then you can add cheese or other things. I had a three corn tacos : chicken, spit roasted beef and mushroom. The meat tacos were incredible and when paired with the salsas they bring to the table I was in heaven. These are good sized tacos and I was getting full. The mushroom taco was not great, the mushrooms lacked flavor and seemed a bit watery. Maybe it's just for the vegetarian in your party. Sitting outside on a warm evening was so fun, highly recommended. ”
“ This was our first stop in Mexico City and we came to grab a snack as this shop was right across from our Airbnb. We tried the doneraky with pita which is their signature and the bistec taco. The bistec was just ok. The meat was a bit tough but the doneraky was pretty good and the pillowy pita was yummy too. The real highlight is the spicy pico de gallo which is the spiciest of the salsas but definitely the most flavorful. Make sure to add some to your tacos! ”
